I put my seed order in for our fall garden--lettuces, peas, turnips, carrots, and green bush beans. I'll get broccoli starts later, and plant the onion starts for green onions.
Anyone else planning a fall garden?

The fall here in Ontario is a lot different than fall in Texas. I will not be ale to harvest anything other than quick crops like spinach and radish. But I will definitely grow those!

Fall weather down here last well into December, some years even into February.

I have carrots, beans, cucumbers, garlic and more potatoes to get planted in the next couple of weeks.

I have carrots, spinach, pak choi, radishes, beets and sugar snaps coming up. Hoping for a great cool season crop.

I'll be planting bulbs for next year: globe alliums & narcissus! I plan on taking in some of my garden herbs to grow on my kitchen window sill.

I couldn't resist the saffron crocus on sale at brecks this year so I ordered those and the monacello tulip that I think are just gorgeous. I'll also be planting Honesty/Money Plants. I love their seeds pods for winter interest.

I picked up some Asparagus Bean and Sumter Cucumber seeds the other day. Out watering this morning it was actually a lot more comfortable than I expected so if the humidity stays lower I might be able to get some planting areas prepped and seeds in the ground sooner than I thought.
