I have been eyeing a small primrose plant which is selling for 99c at Rite Aide.It is flowering already. Is this a easy plant to grow?
I want to plant it in a pot.I want to add that I managed to kill all the plants that I tried to grow about three years back when I gave up.Want to start again.Any help will be appreciated.

I think primroses are just beautiful, and I do well enough with them until
summer when our temperatures start to climb.
They just don't seem to appreciate our long, hot summers.

Just my 2 cents, all the stores will have primroses in soon, if you hunt around you can find some truly beautiful ones for the same buck, I saw some with double blooms at, I think, Home Depot the other day!
Primroses are usually planted to give some color relief to winter-weary gardeners, just be sure to keep the soil moist in a pot.
