    The top shot reminds me of Jacob's Ladder-do the leaves have smooth or serrated edges? if they are the latter then it isn't Jacob's ladder and I don't know any other options...

    Donna I think Lukey might be on the right track. It could very well be a sorbus - maybe Sorbus aucuparia??

    Cute cute.
    Could well be Sorbus but the leaves and growth habit also reminds me of the Xanthoceras small babies I have in my garden.
    Would this be "available" to your area?
    I got mine from a gardenstew member as they don't grow in Romania.
    Sorbus does! :)

    Thank you Cal. You are right. It is a xanthaceras (yellowhorn tree) and I did plant the seed last year. I just never expected it to grow, so I forgot about it. Squirrels used all my pots for their winter storage so labels were gone. Thanks Pondlady.
