I thought I'd let you know that Santa Rosa Gardens are having a 50% off sale. The code is VIP50 if anyone is interested.

If only I lived in that area I'd be there to pick up some bargains.

Plant sales are great but I only do new plantings in the spring unless someone gives me something I like, then I will plant in the fall. My flower beds still have to be cut back and cleaned up a bit....too many things going on at our house lately but we should get it done in the next 4 days when it is suppose to warm up a bit.
....2ofus...did you buy anything? I am seriously thinking if we stay at this house to taking my flower bed out...the one big one in the front yard is a lot of work and as I get older, it gets harder to keep up.

Yes, I ordered 2 Vera Jamison sedum and 3 Pink Cotton Candy Stachys. They let you specify the date you want them sent so I chose to have them delivered in late April next year.

2ofus...I don't think I have ever got to pick when things were delivered. Last year one company sent some plants because they said they were cold hardy and it was too early for me....meaning I didn't want to be outdoors planting when it was still cold....I will make sure next time when they will be shipped out. The plants did fine and grew like crazy so the cold weather didn't affect them. They are made for a lot warmer zone than I am. Those were my Hot lips salvia.
