Our vegetable gardens are all prepared (compost tossed on, raked over and rows marked) so today we are planting lettuces, chard, spinach, and radishes. We'll pick up several pounds of seed potatoes at the feed store and cut them to plant, and start hardening off the broccoli transplants. I love this time of year with the smell of damp earth, and the feel of it, too!
Who else is planting on Valentine's Day?

I'm envious ... I won't be able to get into my veggie garden for a few more months. Although, the first week of March I usually pot up some Dahlia's and Canna Lily's.

With a foot and a half of snow on the ground I suppose I could plant some herbs in pots in the window:)
