Now I really really really can't wait for planting time and spring to get here.
Great picks Jon. I've avoided looking at my seed catalogs since Christmas...I just get too anxious for spring. 63 more days!
Jon, I really, really, really feel your excitement! Hurry up Spring!!! Some great picks and some I will have to look up. Love to learn something new.
Lovely pics Jon and a great selection of plants. Do you know that there's a PINK lily of the valley available now? It's a 'must have' on my list!!! :-D Here's a link for you to have a look at: http://www.vanmeuwen.com/flowers/flower ... nk/41239VM
Sounds like great picks! I picked up a few seeds yesterday and like you... I just can't wait for Spring to arrive! Good luck with all your new stuff!
Jon, Great selections--your garden will be the envy of the neighborhood. I miss having Lily of the Valley--just too hot too soon here for it to survive. My order from PineTree came promptly, and I've started some of the seeds inside. That's a good seed source, I think.
What a great list of seeds and plants. I have a tall stack of seed/plant catalogs sitting on the floor that I just can't bring myself to look through, knowing that I have no self-control. When do you usually start seeds in your area?
Sorry for the late response everyone, but I've been really busy this week. Netty - I totally understand because that's exactly what happened to me. Eileen - I didn't know!!! I checked out the link and it looks amazing. I think that if I find some here I will probably have to buy some to go with my new white ones. Marlingardener - Well, there are a few other really nice gardens around. Though most people here in the neighborhood usually have some company manage their property. Toni - I try to start some seeds in early March. That is usually when the last frost happens. Others I will start a little later like in April depending on what they are. If it is something native to my area of Georgia then I will probably start before the frost ends, but making sure that the seeds are planted deep enough or somewhat protected from it.
