Since I had the camera out and was trying to sneak around the yard I found some plants, too. First is some wildflowers in the back yard. I don't know what they are. The little strips on the flowers are purple.

I know this is a puffball. I made the hole in it before I thought that I should get a picture since I had camera in hand.

These are also wildflowers or weeds some people would say. I know I should pull them out as they are in abundance but they are pretty and not bothering me at the moment.

You will notice there are no bird pictures posted here. They didn't come back. I could hear them in the trees out in the back but between the cat and me sneaking around they played it safe.

I will have to look up the first flower in my books but I do know that the 3rd picture is Henbit. It starts growing usually around here December in mild weather, the hot weather kills it off in about April. Sometimes it shows up again if there is a cool/wet autumn.

    Things are looking good there.
It is such a pleasure to see your flowers--we are lagging far behind here. :(

    Wild flower and puffballs

Those flowers are so pretty I'd leave them in the garden. I do envy the puffball. They are good eating. :D
