Nice sunny day here, but a little cool. Went out ad walked around some and noticed all the lilly beds are coming up. So I got busy and cleaned out last years dead growth ad raked up the old leaves. They look pretty good now. Have some growth starting to appear on some of the shrubs that we planted last year, so they made it through the winter.

Lucky you to be working outside. It is still wet here and we have a promise of snow next week so I better not get too far ahead of the weather..I noticed my alliums and some lilys are poking up.

Got out last week and worked my flowerbeds getting ready to add the new mulch this next week. Was out in shorts working last week and today it is to cold with the nw winds here in Houston, TX, but suppose to warm up again this week into the mid to upper 70's again. Can't hardly wait to get my hands into the dirt again.

That was good news that those plants have made it through the winter.
What a pleasure it is to be able to work outside again, eh?

I was so happy to see this plaque emerge from the snow this spring! It's my motto! I smile when ever I see anybody out playing in their dirt! ;)
