The thick burgandy curtains are still closed....The conducter in the pit taps his podium for attention with the baton. ...the audence becomes still in anticipation and the musici are alert for the sign to begin. The maestro's arms make a dramatic upsweep and the orchestra begins the overture and medly softly, gently... The lights slowly dim and the curtains open.... The Prelude: Act I: Act II: Act III, scene 1: Act III, scene 2: Fin: -----This play had no intermission; and the reason for this is, no doubt, patently clear to the audience.
Yummmmmm, I am not surprised by a lack of intermission but I am surprised it lasted long enough for you to get 4 pictures taken.
Oh Droopy, I had so wanted to make fresh BLT's for you guys when your were here, but the toms just would not ripen in time. Toni-- "Out of the mouthes of babes come the world's great truths". Eileen & Netty-- I'm glad you liked the posting. Those things were sooooooooo delish!
Where is that smilie you used last week???? Ah! Here it is! !!!!! Looks DEE-lish... I like avocado on mine -- BAT. Yum!
Daisy, if I could redily get hold of avacado, I'd put it on there on top of everything else. I have a real weakness for avacado. When they are in the city and not too expensive, I buy a bunch and gorge.
A standing ovation is required! (standing and applauding while wearing a drool bib) What a wonderful showing...will there be a sequel soon? :-D
Taking deep bows....and uttering "thank yous" again and again... There will be a sequel; however, showing it would constitute cruel and unusual internet behaviour. I'm guessing that there will be sequels until into october.
Ooooh Sjoerd, now that is my kind of sandwich. Delicious, and I loved your presentation of your photos, very imaginative Look forward to the sequel
I enjoyed my dreaming while I ate my pickle loaf sandwich and uttering nasty little things under my breath. Loved your great presentation.
