Been busy the past couple of days trying to make this old red clay dirt better to grow veggies in. I have tilled in close to a ton of sand, 800 lbs. of organic humus manure and around 400 pounds of 3 year old manure/hay compost into the soil of my 25ft x 25 ft little garden, it does look better but still has that "red clay" color a little. Got 60 Super Sweet onion sets and 25 garlic sets put out yesterday, rain today so will be a few days before i can get back in the garden.
    Have a blooming day!!

    Wow, what a load of manure....sorry I just couldn't resist. ;)
That was a lot of work but the garden area really does look nice and inviting for all the future veggies.

That's lovely--there is nothing like the sight of freshly turned, manured soil to make a gardener's heart sing!

That soil looks nice and fine,..good enough to sow seeds in,..you sure put in a lot of ingredients to make it fertile enough for growing almost anything,..a job well done.
