Well, maybe I didn't play. I went to water everything last evening and noticed some peas were getting past the snap stage. Snap peas you eat pod and all and if you leave them they get tough. So, this morning I went and picked them. I put two bags into the freezer. I'll use them in soup or cooking. I, also, picked about 20 bush green beans. I had a part package of seeds from last year so there is only a short row. I got enough to put one bag in the freezer. We only have a small garden and I didn't intend to freeze anything, just for fresh eating. What I put in the freezer is a bonus.
I have two small eggplant and one yellow summer squash that will go in the spaghetti sauce after it cooks down a bit. It's in a small slow cooker and may or may not be used for supper. I have lots of little green tomatoes and several small green peppers and some zucchini coming along. In a week or so maybe that's what I will be picking.

The garden keep you busy Dooley. For a second as I was reading the post I got to the, "I, also, picked about 20 bush green beans" and thought 20 bushels , I quickly gathered my thoughts back to reality and read it correctly. Busy, yes but not too busy. Have fun 'playing' :)

I've just planted my first tomatoes and peppers as the weather here has been atrocious. I would love to have sugar snap peas in the garden but they never do well here. I'm so pleased your garden is producing well for you Dooley and I hope you get lots of tomatoes, peppers and zuchinni soon.
