Hello I am new to Garden Stew. I live in North Texas. I am new to gardening. My husband of 16 years says I have a red thumb:( I am trying to identify this greenery. Which I am doing very well at not killing. It started out in a pot and then seeded over to the ground. It's aggressively growing as you can see it growing all over the ground which was not there last year. Last year I had inpatience plant flowers there. Its leaves feel felty. It has a smell. Maybe minty. It looks like flowers are going to sprout but never do. At least not last years that was growing in the pot. I took a picture of it in the pot and on the ground and then both to give you an idea of how fast it is spreading. Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed.

Could it be a type of Mint? That plant is very invasive.
