    Polygonatum odoratum var odoratum

    A species from Holland
    Growing in the dunes
    loves full sun
    hates wet feed
I always plant them on little hills
    has a fantastic perfume

    Polygonatum odoratum var japonicum

    The Japanese form
probably in the future Polygonatum japonicum
smaller flowers , berries , for a semi shady place
    and hardly perfumed
better to grow in humus rich woodland soil

Maybe you can finally chance these wrong names
so many differences in-between the two species
    probably Polygonatum japonicum
is the only good name for the Japanese species

The one most often seen in Britain is P, x hybridum. All of them are attacked by sawflies here though.

I am looking for my collection
    different forms from Polygonatum biflorum
maybe there is somebody who can help

We have a woodland plant very much like that one. Wonder if it is in the same family? Nice photos :)
