Just had to share a good close-up pic of one of my pond residents....[IMG]
I was so surprised that he let me get so close before he jumped into the pond...LOL
Maybe he thought, he was "KERMIT"

I love frogs. We mainly see toads around here. The girls raised 4 tadpoles last year and had a ball, it was great!

I have atleast 25 frogs in my pond, they seem to really like the spring water that flows into it daily and being close to the woods, they get to eat there share of bugs...As for me I enjoy sitting back and just listening to them in the evening...chirping and croaking...

We have a display pond at work where we keep the water lilies that are for sale. We thought we had a bumper crop of frogs. (hundreds!)
Turns out they are toads. Oh well. Still fun to watch. Just not as purty. :)

    Great shot Beesplace.
Hubby loves frogs and bring them home from work where they hop everywhere. They don't seem to stick around too long...our pond is very small. We have lots of toads though.
