Last weekend I bought some Auriculas from Hillview Hardy Plants in Worfield near Bridgnorth. when I got home I discovered they were riddled with root aphids. I Emailed the nursery , but have heard nothing from them so, I feel free to tell everyone that they patronise this place at their own risk.
If it would not have cost as much to return them as buying them in the first place I would have gone straight back and demanded my money back. As it is I have bare rooted them and replanted in my own compost (would have done this anyway as I dislike pure peat) and watered with Provado.
    What would you have done?

I'd have done the same as you, Palustris. But I would have sent another e-mail telling them you're not amused by their lacking answer either. Thanks for telling us. I've got friends who like to import plants from all over the world and will be certain to tell them.

What kind of Auriculas did you get? Showy ones? Do show us.

I would have done as you did Eric but followed the e.mail up with a telephone call. Thanks for the tip-off about Hillview as it's always good to know which plant suppliers are good or bad.

I hope your Auriculas will now grow well for you and that you won't hve any further problems with them.
