    I know we've all seen poppies before, but I just loved the color of these (red is my favorite color btw).

    Awww, they're so lovely. I like red in the borders too. You're lucky to have those, the colour is amazingly clear.

    That is a lovely foto, Pl. I like the big poppies as well. I have orange and red ones...and of course there are always the blow-ins which I let stay.

    I bought red ones that looked just like yours a couple of years ago at the Gardening Scotland Show. They were called 'Ladybirds' but since that first flowering they 've always bloomed pink. :( I'm so glad you showed us a photograph of yours as I love red flowers in a garden, especially poppies. :-D
