This artificial tree was given to us this summer so I decided it should go on the front porch. I decorated it with silk poinsettias and pine cones.

This old crate has held many things on our front porch. It sits next to the front door and the mail carrier and UPS carrier use it often to hold packages. I decided it needed color for the holidays so it is filled with silk poinsettias. It is amazing how well the silk flowers hold up to the weather. They have been used outside for several years.

That looks really nice Polly. I wish I could get some inspiration for Christmas decorating...I'm still trying to figure out where the summer went!

Looking great, Polly! Love that crate and how you've filled it with a splash of color.
That's a great way to use the tree you received, too.
With the rocker and the scuttle full of cones, it looks so warm and inviting.

This looks great. Bright with the cheery flowers and incorporating the beauty of pinecones.
