I just saw Pianolady's postcard of Iowa welcoming a new member from Ireland. What a great idea! Wouldn't it be interesting and fun if members got postcards of their location, either comic or scenic, and posted pictures of the cards? The cards could be on a subforum or stand-alone topic. Copyright laws wouldn't be violated, as far as I know. What do y'all think?
Frank started a real-life postcard swap back in the Fall of 2010, anyone who wanted to join could share their snail mail addresses by PM. http://www.gardenstew.com/threads/gardenstew-postcard-swap-share-your-postcards-here.20438/ Online would be cheaper and easier in the long run. We have so many members who joined since then, this would mean a lot of new places to see.
I still have my post cards from the last postcard swap here somewhere. Online postcards will be fun too
