Been 3 days with no power or water. Temps hit 102* and no AC. Stong storms and high winds took their toll. Flattened my brussel sprouts, eggplant, corn and some tomatoes and flowers. But at least I didn't have to water.

I'll bet the Glads were not glad about being flattened. It's awful to have flowers mangled by summer storms. Just when you are starting to enjoy them. Did you lose any food as a result of the power outage?

Those Morning Glories really are glorious and such a lovely colour. :-D
I'm so glad to hear that you now have power and water again. Three days without water or air conditioning in temperatures like yours must have been difficult to say the least.

This weather is amazing this year. We had next to no rain from this weather event this past week. All around us was destruction. I wouldn't even know anything happened out there if it wasn't for the internet.

Yes glad you have power. Been through that before. Had to run generator for 3 days. High price gas . But got rural water and gas stove. Drove around lot of trees down. roof and corn bin tore apart.Nice to rain-but...
