Here is another of my primroses. This one is in the back yard in the memory garden. It was new last year and I don't remember it blooming so was surprised at the color of it. I guess I have lost my purple one that was in the front garden as there is no sign of it at all.

I love primroses in the garden as they flower for ages and look so pretty. Sorry to hear you've lost your purple one Polly. :(

I hope they aren't hard to keep alive. The yellow in my front bed has been around for 3 or 4 years so it seems to like it here but thepurple one next to it didn't make it.

I'm hoping too that they are easy to keep, I just planted Drumstick Primroses in the garden! Ruby, Lilac and white.

They seem to be happy enough, although no buds yet.

WoW! What a great color. I am happy to enjoy them vicariously since they don't do well here in the South. :(
