I'm both a mum and a horse-mum, and sometimes I have to be creative to exercise my furries because I need to have enough time to help my children with school work and other things.

Since nobody told me I couldn't train both ponies together, let alone loose-jump them together, I went ahead and trained them to do just that. :D The video quality is appallingly bad, but I think the video's funny, especially since Truls is behaving like... Truls! and gets up to mischief, taking the otherwise obedient Gabriella with him. I hope you like the video, despite the lack of quality.

What fun. Gabriella is trying to do the right thing but Truls just must show his non-conformity streak doesn't he? ;)

Great video, and Truls is certainly showing his independence!
Do they ever jump the fence and go walk-about?

Great video Droopy, But don't they jump the fence and go their ,merry way? I had a horse, as a teen, that would not stay in the pasture, even with hobbles on. He took a flying leap over the fence daily...

Gabriella is good at follow the leader but it appears that Truls looks for the easy way and Gabriella isn't about to let him get away with it if she sees him . They are fun to watch.

What a treat to watch Truls and Gabriella having such fun together - even if Truls does cheat now and then. ;)
Excellent training Droopy as I've never seen two ponies loose jumping together before.
I hope you'll show us more videos like this again soon.

What a great video, Droopy! it was delightful seeing them galloping along and springing over the barriers. I had to chuckle when I saw ole Truls just go around the barricade. Naughty fellow.

I wonder why he did that. I wonder if he saw something that he didn't like, or if he was just showing off to Gabriella that he could break the rules. hahaha.

    Anyway--great vid.

Thanks for liking my furries' antics. :D They never jump the fence, but they can break the fence down or snap the paddock strings if something scares them or other horses break out. Touch wood, nothing like that so far this winter. :D Gabriella's usually very well-behaved and lady-like. Truls is a bit of a rascal. :D I love them both, of course. They're full of personality, and I like that. :D

Truls probably came too close to Gabriella for comfort and decided not to jump the hurdle. When he ran outside the second time, he was just being cheeky.

    Ok, thanks.

They sure look like they're enjoying themselves! I have a horse too, I board him about 40 minutes away so don't get to visit him nearly enough.
