I have a pumpkin that has started turning orange. It is still on the vine. Should I leave it or cut it off? Since it has started turning I think it must be as big as it's going to get. Right??

You need to leave it on as long as possible,it will stop changing color once it is picked. They should be picked after the leaves have started fading but before the first frost.

I've already picked a few pumpkins. If they are ready you wont need to cut them off the vine...they will fall off or come off with a gentle tug.
