Purple Flower Perennial?

    I'm not sure what this is, but my mother in-law loves these and we would like to get them for her for mothers day. I wanted to ask the owner but I never get a chance to talk to him while hes home... Any help would be appreciated.

    It looks like osteospermum to me. It is half-hardy in zone 9 and 10. But maybe you could get a closer picture for us. This is almost a "Oh, thats a pretty color" picture. (which it is, by the way)

    I was thinking the same thing... But the only thing is the foliage on those all seem smaller. The ones in the picture are pretty big... I'll try to get another picture if I can today...

    Hi all, these plants are called cinerarias, they grow in shady spots and reach about 60cm, they are grown very well in this area but are treated as annuals because it is quite warm in summer here and they die down and dont recover well, there is a large range of colours available too.
