Purple Irises Are Blooming Again

    These just seem to grow wild around the back of the house. They just peaked their heads out the other day. I'm so glad to see them, because not only are they so pretty... that means the orange daylilies aren't far behind!

    Iris are cheery plants, dancing in the breeze, in groups it's like a chorus greeting you. I have an affinity for iris anyway, it's the first flower I can remember. I was 'tall' enough that they came to my chin, it was a few years ago. :)

    A lovely blue with a fleck of yellow,..now that's a flower i would like,..i love blue!!!.

    I love blue blooms too! That little hint of yellow makes it that much nicer :)
