    Good Afternoon,

Last weekend my husband bought me several plants from a nursery on our way home from a mini vacation. Sadly the staff wasn't knowledgeable about the plants and couldn't tell me anything about this plant. All the tag said was that it was a tropical plant. Here is a picture I took with my cell phone, if I need a better photo I can take one.

Thanks for any help you can provide :)

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me. it was frustrating to have the clerks tell me that if it didn't come with a marker in the plant they had no idea.

    Hi Lena
I smuggled a piece of that same plant home from Georgia in 2001 :-D I am happy to say that I still have it's offspring living with me today! I am in Klamath Falls and obviously it is an annual down here. However, I break a few pieces off every summer, stick them in a jar of water and start new plants to keep in my office. They will winter over on the window sill and then come summer I put them back outside and start the cycle all over again. I love the little pink blossoms they put out every day ;)

They grow like weeds down here in SE Texas. If you just drop a piece on the ground... it will grow...and grow...and grow! Dies off in winter but comes back strong.

I am hoping it will grow like a weed and be just as hardy as one. We will see :)
