I did not notice the purple shadow yesterday. Snow just does the most interesting things to light.[IMG]

Great shot, Muddy. Do you have a heater for the horse's water? I'm considering one for my goats, it gets mighty old going out there to smash the ice off their water bucket, and I add boiling water to it just to warm it a little for them. Then again, it's supposed to turn balmy tomorrow- must be why Washingtonians are a tad balmy!!!

Hi Mary, Del's on Old Highway 99 must carry the kind that screw into the plug of a Rubbermaid stocktank. I was just at Del's up here and they were around $37.00 I always worry that Bob will mess with the kind you sumerge from the top. Winter is colic time for horses because many will not drink enough water when it is ice cold. Colic is very serious in horses and is a major cause of death. I do tend to worry about this and top all the waters in the stall off with buckets of hot water just before they go in at night.
Frank, I'm glad you like the pic of Hailey. I'll let her know.
