Purslane "Fairytales Cinderella"

    Just one last exciting thing I got at the nursery was this Purslane. It loves full sun and little water. I have that in the summer in abundance. :rolleyes: I put it in a hypertufa pot to live amongst my sedums.

    That is a really pretty little plant Bethie. I agree with Polly that the pink and yellow together against the green of the leaves is lovely. :-D

    That is really pretty Bethie. Not at all like the Purslane that grows around here!

    I think that is one of the cutest flowers I have ever seen. Now I have to call around to the nurseries and see if they have it here.

    I don't know if this annual will reseed or not. It is one of the propagation prohibited plants like so many new ones are. This is not really a problem for the home gardener, if you know what I mean. I was at the nursery once when an inspector showed up and went through every greenhouse looking for this kind of thing. If you are growing them on your own they confiscate them and throw them away and make you pay a fine. :rolleyes:
