After tuesdays snow, today was beautiful out, all the snow was gone, fast, so KB asked Josh to help him with one of the boats. And this is the look I got when he was done,,,lol. lol,, i love it,,,no matter how old they get the little boy always shows up and pouts when theres work to be done.
I love that first photo, it's something about the colours. Tell Josh not to be a cry baby and do his chores like a big boy. He's a handsome, young man despite his pout.
Well at least he did help out - much better to pout afterwards than stomp off in a huff and not do the work. Great photographs Biita of the men in your life. :-D
Hey Josh-Good going for a job well done. (despite pouting) I know you mom and dad appreciated the help.
Josh is a very handsome young man. The first picture is absolutely beautiful. Looks like it could be a post card.
Lol, he got over it, thats one of the boats thats been sunk already and emptied, so its ready to go,, after dinner he was happy because they both went out fishing for a while. Few beers and a fishing rod,, they were both happy!
Oh, he wasn't pouting. The sun was just in his eyes so he had to squint. Giving you an out Josh, so play along with me here.
I remember when I was a child I thought having to sink a boat before it would float seemed a very strange thing to do.
lol, thanks all,, He is so spoiled,, but then thats been my intention since the day both he and his sister were born. When I first seen them sink the boat a few yrs ago now, I was in shock, i couldn't figure it out at all. Then KB explained why they did it. Its all wood, they let the sea swell the wood, and after that happens, they can then drain it, and by sitting on the water all the time the wood stays wet and swollen. Amazing. No leaks!! Now when I see them doing it, its no big deal,, i feel like a pro!,,lol.
I miss those old, wooden boats. They had soul. I learned how to care for them when I was young, but I've never had one of my own to care for so I guess I've forgotten most of it by now.
