I love that first photo, it's something about the colours. Tell Josh not to be a cry baby and do his chores like a big boy. :D He's a handsome, young man despite his pout.

Well at least he did help out - much better to pout afterwards than stomp off in a huff and not do the work. :D :D Great photographs Biita of the men in your life. :-D

Josh is a very handsome young man.

The first picture is absolutely beautiful. Looks like it could be a post card.

I remember when I was a child I thought having to sink a boat before it would float seemed a very strange thing to do. :D

lol, thanks all,, He is so spoiled,, but then thats been my intention since the day both he and his sister were born.

When I first seen them sink the boat a few yrs ago now, I was in shock, i couldn't figure it out at all. Then KB explained why they did it. Its all wood, they let the sea swell the wood, and after that happens, they can then drain it, and by sitting on the water all the time the wood stays wet and swollen. Amazing. No leaks!! Now when I see them doing it, its no big deal,, i feel like a pro!,,lol.

I miss those old, wooden boats. They had soul. I learned how to care for them when I was young, but I've never had one of my own to care for so I guess I've forgotten most of it by now.
