My daughter's pre-K class studied the letter "Q" this week. For show-n-tell, instead of bringing something that started with Q, she became something that started with Q: a QUEEN! The robe was found at a craft store and the "crown" is a peasant headdress my aunt & uncle brought back from Russia.

She's just as adorable a Queen as she's a ballerina. Well thought!

What a good idea as it would have been quite difficult to take something starting with Q to show n tell.

    smart

I must brag some here. I think the "Q" for queen thing was a pretty good idea of hers. Months ago, when they studied the letter "N", we were scrambling around Friday morning trying to find something that started with N to take for show-n-tell. As my wife are racking our brains, our daughter said, "I could take nothing - nothing starts with N." Needless to say, I was quite impressed!
