It has rained all night here and has finally let up. The rain guage has 2 inches in it. Not as bad as what parts of Texas got yesterday though. No flooding here as it has been a while since we had a good soaking rain. Most of this has soaked into the ground.

Glad to hear there was no flooding CK. With most of it soaking into the ground it should do all the gardens a power of good. :-D

Gardens here are pretty much history for this year. Have a few hardy flowers left but we should have a hard frost or freeze in the next few weeks that will do everything in. Most of the farmers around here have there soybeans off for the year and the corn can really wait a while longer before it needs to be picked. The corn can wait until the ground freezes for it to come off.

Raining here as well, but for us that is normal. Oregonians aren't nicknamed "webfoots" for nothing, LOL! I'm looking out at a lovely, wet yard with dripping fall leaves and a nice breeze. I like it when the wind blows just enough to spatter the windows with rain, it looks poetic.
