We have had about 2 inches of rain in about 12 hours! But it has stopped now and the wind is blowing fiercly. They say anywhere from 40 to 60 mph winds. But at least we won't get the freezing rain and snow that they got further west.

We're also got lots of rain and wind. No snow yet.

Send over the ducks Capt Kirk, I've got a lake for them! Here's a pic of my front lawn. That water wasn't there yesterday when it first started raining.

Oh heck Netty your poor front lawn!!

We've got rain, rain and more rain accompanied by gale force winds too. I think the sun has deserted us here in Scotland. :(

We didn't get nearly as much rain as was predicted here,
but perhaps it is just running later than they expected. :-?
The cold hasn't arrived yet either, it's still 72°F at 7 o'clock this evening.

Forecasters say we'll likely see our first frost in a couple of nights. [IMG]

Seems like we're all having bad weather right now. Hate to see a yard underwater. Ours gets that way occasionally. :-|

That IS a lot of water on my lawn...but I try to think positive...it's not hurting anything down there and when it freezes I'll have a GREAT skating rink :smt023

Oh dear Netty that is a lot of water. Still an ice rink does sound appealing :) Maybe take a canoe out on it until it freezes.
