I'm gueesing this is a mini golf course/amusement park?
Did you design the garden areas and water features?
Besides loving all the plants, I really took a liking to the "roping".
And since you'll be there full time next year, hopefully we'll get to see more of your "work".
Work... hmmmm... that could be considered "playing" by alot of folks!

    :-D

the place is a large caravan site, and this area is used by holiday makers & caravan owners. unfortunately i had no hand in the design of any of it, but im hoping next year i'll have a bigger part to play. next season i'll be working a different area around the caravans and fishing ponds.

Luke... can you explain to me what "holiday makers" and "caravan owners" are and how they utilize this area?

i sure can. :-D on site there's around a thousand caravans, maybe more. the majority of these are owned by people who get exclusive access, discount, and freebies all around that area in the pics, and the rest of site. holiday makers are the people that come down and rent the vans either off us the site or off the owners. alot of people live there all year round and will only leave site for a holiday themselves.

some of the things you can do in my area are swimming, gym & spa, crazy golf, go karts, large climbing wall and zip wire, we have tutors for archery, football, fencing, cycling. we have a show bar with entertainment for the children and adults, and a normal bar were you can have a few beers and your sunday roast. we even have paintballing and a 9 & 18 hole golf course not far from where im based. :-D

Thanks for the explanation Lukey! Sounds like there's something for everyone to do. And it sure looks like a bright, cheery & fun place to be.

if i had one thing bad to say about the place it would be about the small minority of people who come down to be a pain in the a** and destroy things! but i suppose you get that at alot of places. its not an overly expensive place to go on holiday so we attract all kinds of people from different backgrounds, and many a morning i've gone in to find some people have ransacked the place. when all the yucca's flowered and looked great, someone went round and hacked all of them down :( not too serious but when im doing my best to keep it looking nice its a pain.

Luke, everything looks really nice, which translates into....LOTS of WORK for someone. So who ever keeps up with it, is doing a great job.

Isn't it funny how people are the same the world over? You have something that looks nice and someone needs to deface or destroy it. :-? It drives me crazy to see this happen.

Congratulations on getting the offer for full time in the spring.
