We just had a doe and twin fawn down in the front yard. Mama was eating ripe mulberries off the ground and the kids were running all over the place checking out everything. They looked at one bench and then ran over and checked out the other bench. Then they looked at the chair for a while too! They acted just like a couple of restless human kids that mama was getting tired of trying to control. We watched them for about 15 to 20 minutes. They were too far away to get a good picture and they were in deep shade too.

Sounds very fairy-tale like. Wish I had been there to see it. :D

That must have been so cute! We have a lot of deer around here but I've never seen one with twin fawns.

Sounds like 'Ma' and the twins were having a grand old time frolicking around. Too bad you weren't able to get pictures!

Maybe they'll come again and get a bit closer next time. It's a long time since I saw a deer with twins.

The same thing happened at my house several years ago! The mother deer and fawns enjoyed eating muscadines right outside our window for a good while. What a treat!

I hope they come back and visit you again.
