Is this all there is to it, or is this just a part of something?

Oh Great!! something weird. The springy thing grabs on to something round like a pole and then the circle thing fits into or around something else and then once in place you do something. Unless it is Tuesday, the tool is not used on Tuesdays which is the reason Delly was able to take a picture. Darned if I know. :-(

caity says we were all smoking too much pot today :-? I've never had that stuff in my entire life!!!!and since I am allergic to formaldehyde, which is a byproduct of burning organic material, It would probably kill me and I wouldn't be here having so much fun with all of you.

    How it is used:

You squeeze the handles together, the "jaws" open and you insert the "O" ring thing between the jaws (with the notches at the top and wedged between the horizontal jaw cross bars, holding the jaws apart.

The circle is then in-between the jaws, the mole comes along and presses that circular "O" plate until the notched "O" plate falls out from between the horizontal arms and the jaws snap closed, killing the beast instantly.

This model of this particular type of mole trap has a wire which is attached to the "O" plate and the body of the trap, so that the "O" plate will not become lost down in the burrow and loose dirt.
