Cheryl, doesn't Texas have magnificent skies? And you captured several in your photos. Well done!

Beautiful! I haven't seen a full rainbow for a long time... it always seems to be just a half rainbow...

I love watching clouds. To me they are awe inspiring and give me such a sense of of the moment/connection/spiritually/calm/magic. You did a great job of capturing a series of brief moments in time. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everyone! I was disappointed in myself for not capturing the second rainbow... I was more concentrated on trying to show the full one from ground to ground. And by the time I got far enough back it had faded too much. Oh well...
Now the sunset lasted and lasted.
And then last night, there was another gorgeous sunset... not quite as dramatic as this one... but pretty none-the-less. And it occurred to me... duh... there's a panoramic setting on the camera!
    So this what I got....

Sure wish I'd thought of that for the rainbow!

Cherylad I just found out that I have the same setting on my camera. But those are some gorgeous pictures of a sunset. Those of sunsets and sunrises are my favorites.
    Well done. :stew1:

No sunset here today. Just clouds and rain, rain, rain, rain. We already have more than two inches and it didn't start until late this afternoon. Just clouds the rest of the day. Wind, too. I can go to sleep to the sound of rain on our tin roof. It will rain tomorrow, too.
