I always loved that song by Ladysmith Black Mbasa, and it is especially poignant here in Texas. Saturday night and Sunday morning we got 2 1/2 inches of beautiful rain!
Our rain storage tanks are full--710 gallons of wet for the gardens! The pond is up and over its banks, which means the overflow creek is full and running. But best of all the oats and winter wheat crops got moisture at a critical time. Looks like a good spring coming here in central Texas! Rain, rain, beautiful rain!

Proving once again that all the good weather is either east or south of me

Spring is probably not too far down the road which seems strange since a few of my deciduous perennials haven't even gone dormant yet.

This is great news MG. Wouldn't want rain every day, but it sure is welcome when needed!

We also got some much needed rain down here in SE Texas. There was even enough to fill the old pond that has been dry.
