We had 1.5 inches of rain this afternoon. Thunder, lightning and rain for about an hour. There is rain in the forecast for tomorrow so I hope it comes again. Gardens always like rain better than water out of a hose. dooley
I was just looking at the state weather radar....it's all staying south of me.....again! Glad you got some for your new garden, that ought to perk things up a lot.
We haven't had rain in awhile so we were glad to see it. There was a roll over accident on I-45 about 4 pm. I don't know if it was weather related but I wouldn't be surprised. It was cleared up fairly quick so I guess it wasn't too bad. They didn't have to shut down the highway. Maybe driving too fast for conditions. I hope everyone was okay. dooley
I sat watching the clouds roll in... but they didn't bring any rain with them. :'( Oh well... at least I got to bbq my ribs.
I had just put the pork tenderloin, grilled green beans and onions, and grilled potatoes off the grill and on a tray to take inside, when the raindrops started! We had been hearing thunder in the distance, but no rain was predicted for us. We got a nice downpour for perhaps a half hour! I am so glad--husband had planted hubam clover this afternoon, and the rain was perfectly timed to drive it into the soil. Dooley, did you share your shower with us? If so, I thank you!
When it was raining I told dr that it was looking worse to the west of us. I think you are northwest of us so maybe you did get the edge of what we had. I enjoyed talking to wannabe on my cell phone while it rained around me. She had some rain but not so much. dooley
