Did you ever recite that rhyme when you were a kid? I have a son and a sister and numerous family members in California and they are all wishing for the rain to stop. They need rain but could use it spaced out a little. At least, none that I know of live in the areas where there are dangerous mudslides, etc. But with the heavy rain and high winds it is still dangerous for them to be out and about. Employers still expect them to show up for work even though they are ask to stay off the roads and not to drive through washes, etc.
The town where we lived in Arizona is under a flood watch. The bridge through town is 16 foot above the river. At 4:30 today the river was at 19 foot and is expected to crest tomorrow evening at 31 foot. I know they will be evacuating the people but when you live in a desert environment you just don't usually have to cope with extremes like this.
Dan lives at 5.000 feet and is having wintery mix. That means, rain, sleet and snow all at the same time and will have maybe 5 to 8 inches tomorrow. They seldom see snow in an average winter so people just don't know how to handle things like that. I do so worry about each one of them, family and friends in the area.
So, if you could add your rain, rain, go way to theirs maybe it would help.

This is my neighbors fence and my baby swing was tied in knots by the gale.
