I hate when the weather stops me gardening too Margie. Let's hope that tomorrow is a milder and drier day for you. :stew1:

Sorry to hear your weather is wet Margie. We have been lucky over the past few days in our corner of the UK. Very mild, unseasonal temperatures. I have made the most of it and spent a lot of time in the garden, mainly tidying up for the winter and putting the tender plants in the greenhouses ready for the cold weather which I think is going to arrive any day now :'( Hope your weather improves so you can replant your flowers :stew2:

Our coastal Norway weather has been wet and windy, and we're promised more of the same. I hope some gardeners out there are having enjoyable weather, we certainly have not.

It rained for 3 weeks straight here, so there was basically no gardening of anykind. But the last 2 days has been dry except for nights. So i have been working in the fields in mud boots or i would sink,,lol,,,and also transplanting herbs from outside to indoors now. Poor things are so water logged. Got the fields all cleaned out, green manure put on, waiting for the cow manure now,,,,and packed a truck full of left over veggie stalks for the boars at the museum where my husband works. I'm tired, i could use another few days of rain now....lol.

Sorry to hear about the rain Margie. It has been glorious here in Essex today, I don't know what it was like in the rest of the UK. However there was quite a cold wind blustering through. Looks like it is going to be dry through the weekend.

Yesterday was a quite beautiful sunny autumn day with reasonably Mild temperatures, today is a lot colder and was very grey and damp this morning but for now it has brightened up and I have seen short spells of sun, sadly i am not so well and cant get out to carry on sorting my garden to make the most of the weather, I had my flu shot yesterday and another shot and have spent all morning throwing up and I am very very tired but seeing everyones chat on here and the pics of gardens and garden visitors keeps me smiling thank you everyone.

Well they keep calling for rain. But so far we have had sunshine. 50-60 degr. weather but sunshine. I have flowers still in the greenhouse surviving with a heater, its been staying about 45 degr in there. Any colder and I'll soon be bringing the rest of those flowers inside the house. Do hope your weather improves.

Maybe the rain will go away soon and you can do what you want to in your yard.

Margie, I am wishing for rain. Seems like when it rains it always seems to over do it. While other areas are really in need of it. But don't question God.

We have had some beautiful autumn days. The weatherman called for rain and possibly snow this weekend :'( We need the rain but the snow can stay away for awhile yet!
