I would like to build several raised bed gardens. I was thinking about 40" wide, 10 feet long and 18" high, with a wide edge board for sitting. Anybody have any plans/pics of theirs, or suggestions for what works best?
    thanks,
    shawn

What materials are you using for the beds? Are you planning on growing mostly flowers, veggies, herbs, perrenials, annuals, all of the above? I love raised beds, they make things so much easier! You must have quite the large space.

We'll be using them mainly for vegetables and flowers. I checked out the Sunset plans, thanks- this is very similar to what i had in mind. I also planned to line the interior with insulating foamboard (we are in northern MN, where it often freezes 10 months out of the year!), and build covers for spring/fall gardening.
