Yesterday on the way to Sharon's sisters house I stopped at a store to use the facilities. An older lady was outside sweeping the parking lot. When I got back to the car and was driving off DD#2 said "Mom is so weird, she got out of the car and gave that lady one of the angels she makes. Thats why I love my Sharon. Have you done or hade done to you any RAK this holiday season? :) :)

Sharon has got to be one of the most kind-hearted people I know. You're a very lucky man Richard to have such a wife. :D

That's what makes the world go round. The best gestures are spontaneous and done out of a love for the human race. Sharon is a keeper Richard :D

There is something that, as it turns out Lisa and I both do and we didn't know it until not very long ago.
Whenever we see a front yard flower filled garden we like, not the standard "line the shrubs along the front of the house" design/cared for by a lawn service, but one that is filled with plants and color and shows lots of attention from a person who gardens ....we take down the address of the house and send a note to " The person who created the wonderful garden" to let them know how much we like it.
In fact I have two addresses on the desk waiting for me to get notes written now so I guess that qualifies as being done this holiday season.....but we do it year round.

That's a great idea Toni, I'll bet the person who receives the note grins from ear to ear.

Fantastic idea Toni :D I had no idea people did things like that. I know if I got a note like that I would be floating all week long.

I love to take pictures of gorgeous gardens and send them as a thank you note to the owner of the house. I don't know if that qualifies as a RAK, but it sure makes me feel good.

Jan, that qualifies. Basically the same thing Lisa and I do but we don't take pictures. Not sure I want to do that, nowadays someone might take down my license number and report me to the police as a burglar casing thier house. :-?

Yeah, you are right. I guess I just can't wrap my mind around a little old grey haired lady 'casing a house'.
