Rare wild orchid.

    This is one of the wild orchids. Saw it for the first time yesterday on an outing.

    That is so beautiful. Thank you very much for sharing this. So, was it in fact, from the wild and where?

    Yes, it is in the wild and just 2 or 3 miles from home here in Victoria on Vancouver Island. It is very rare and I'm going back tomorrow to take a few more pictures. I should take verticals but they don't fit the computer, TV etc.
