i panted a good size nursery raspberry about a month ago and hoped to see canes growing by now.

but theres nothing and the leaves on the plant are starting to wilt.

i thought raspeberries were quite hardy and didn't expect issues.

any advice don't want to lose this one.

    thanks

Could be Raspberry Borer. Check out the canes for two parallel lines about a half inch apart going around the cane, that's where you will find the borer if it is there. Cut off the cane several inches below those lines and throw it in the garbage or burn it. If left to their own means, the borers will continue to travel down the cane until they reach the roots and kill the plant.

If there are no signs of borers, then it could be a lack of water or sun. They need 6-8 hours of sun a day to grow well and produce fruit and moist soil or the fruit will be hard.
