Is it ok to put raw veggies in a flower bed? Does it cause bugs on your plants? Or is it good to put your scraps directly on or around your plants?

I've never tried this Rosebud as all my vegetable matter goes straight into our compost bins. The only exceptions are tomatoes and potatoes as they may harbour blight. I would imagine scattering them around your flower beds may cause a few problems - ie bugs, slugs and snails or even mould and fungal growth.

Rodents could be a bad problem too.

You could run them thru the blender to create a puree
then dig a hole between a couple of plants and pour it in.
