I like the Omnipotence of that. I have brought order to the Cosmos, put it all into a more streamlined arrangement to better serve the purpose for which it was originally intended. I have gathered it's bits and pieces from places heretofore unknown and therefore their existence had remained a cosmic mystery until my eye caught sight of them. Oh, there were some bits that were too large and unwilling to follow my directive. I, in my omnipotence, determined that they should be left to begin an exciting, new adventure of their own. How they got so far away from their original placement is unknown for certain but in all probability tiny portions were removed by some species of the Aves class and deposited in whatever location they just happened to fall when the species of the Aves class had gotten out of it all they could. And there were some that I left alone simply because I believed they would better serve their purpose and mine where they had been haphazzardly placed by the aforementioned species of the Aves class. Afterall, bringing order to the Cosmos isn't always about forcing your omnipotence upon them but sometimes allowing them to develop an omnipotence of their own and control their own existence. In other words...... I found and transplanted Cosmos bipinnatus (Garden Cosmos, Mexican Aster) from all over the front yard into at least one Cosmos bed. Wanna see? There are 15-20 here, some larger ones a few feet away that I left alone and about half a dozen scattered around the bed on the other side of the driveway. Not a really major happening in my garden but just the thought of controlling the 'Cosmos' made me feel in control...then I looked at the weeds running rampant in the back yard and was rudely brought back to my reality. I wish you could be omnipotent and do a major bit of rearranging! But as far as I can tell, you've done wonderfully well in your training period.
I just planted some "double click" Cosmos in flats. They only took 3 days to germinate! I hope they grow that well once I put them in the garden.
Hee hee -- that was very clever of you Toni! I enjoyed your post as much as you did your powers! I'm picturing you in Mother Nature garb.
I looked pretty awesome in the long white flowing dress, a length of Ivy for a belt and a ring of Daisies in my hair. I am keeping the outfit for future burst of power
Mother Nature can get away with wearing that much green, I would look like a barrel cactus. I decided I would rather look like a snowman instead. :-D
Clapping! Wildly!! That is an awesome way of taking the spiritual and putting to use what is growing wild outside of our control. We can only control so much and by the look of your pic,,you have done and amazing job of bringing order to your own little world there at home. The wild and the tamed, well balanced! And by the way,,,don't forget to eat those dandlions when your done with your hair wreath,,,lol. Does mother nature wear green. Probably, but i would like to think that she wears all the colors of the earth, since its her inspiration that colors our world!!
Heh heh heh What a fun posting. Well, that orderly bed does look good, I must say. I had germinated some Cosmos seeds this spring and my cats ate the tops off 'em. :-? They've never done something like that before. Well, it will be exciting to see your cosmos in bloom. 'Looking foreward to it.
