Carolyn, you are definitely in the running for "most spectacular sunrise photo!" Gorgeous, simply gorgeous.

Thanks Jane. It was spectacular, I wish I could have gotten the whole horizon. But I really just wanted to get the color to show you all how glorious it was. I wish I could see this at nighttime instead. Since we have a great big incline and trees to the west of us, we don't have that opportunity...ever.

All the sailors are heading to shore right now. :) Nice sunrise Carolyn, I always sleep through ours. Do you have a rooster that wakes you up at the crack of dawn?

I am still waiting for the surprise snowstorm, the type that gets the weather-people all excited. It doesn't seem like winter in New England without getting pounded with a storm or two.

Jerry, How did you know about the roosters? They start at about 3:00 A.M. letting me know the day is beginning  There are SIX of them back there right now, but pretty soon, they will be dinner/soup for someone. They are all chicks that we raised last year...I really wanted all hens to be hatched, but it seems to be about 50/50 :-x I would be happy with 90/10.

Well, It was supposed to be rain any way, but now I am guessing it needs to warm up a little more.

Thanks Sherry, Donna, Cheryl and Philip, as red as it was I can't believe that most of the day was snow. not that I was distressed about it, At these temperatures snow is better than rain.
