Red peppers--Update & pictures

    Sweet red peppers at the grocery are expensive, but you can grow your own. We have California Wonders that we let ripen. Here is a plant with three that are in various stages of ripening:

    Green bell peppers are just that--green--not ripe. Let a few stay on the plant and you'll have gourmet peppers to enjoy!
    And here are two of the California Wonders at the red ripe stage:

    These will get roasted for red pepper salad tonight.

    Lovely, like I mentioned in Donna S thread all I can get is piong pong sized ones and the plants are stunted ..... maybe I should try planting them in partial shades ...... Hmmmm.....
