We have a black Squirrel that comes to our bird feeder from time to time. He (or she)is very timid, and runs off at the first sight of any other Squirrel. Today he came to visit, and I had the camera there. I got several shots of him, and as I looked at the photos later, I noticed something. If you lean in close and take a good look at the closeup of his eye, you will see a large tree, and our dinette windows. Three very tall windows on a green house. The top photo is an enlargement of the second. I assure you there is no enhancement other than zooming in. Well spotted Tom, we're seeing exactly what he sees. I do enjoy your squirrel photos having never had them in Ireland.
Never seen a black squirrel. Great photos as always Tom. That eye reflection is truly amazing, you can see the tree and your dinette windows clearly.
I've never thought to zoom in on a squirrels eye before - fascinating. Thanks for the photographs Tom - it's a long time since I last saw a black squirrel. :-D
I like the black squirrels better than the ugly gray ones. They remind me of a rat!! You pics are great. He like playing in the snow!
