Reported results for the Great Backyard Birdwatch

    I just submitted my checklists for the birdwatch. I did not have a chance to watch anywhere but my yard as we were away for 2 days. Here is the link to the results.

    I was not surprised to see that Florida was #l for the Most Birds counted. I am sure the result would more than double if they were allowed to count the "snowbirds" :D I was happy to see that Tennesse made the top ten for most checklists submitted.

    I didn't get a count submitted. Not hardly any birds in my yard all day on Friday, mainly because the kids were out of school and playing in the snow scaring the birds away :rolleyes:
    And we were away from home most of Saturday and all of Sunday.

    But I am glad to see that Texas had some good reportings....most of them from the southern regions where the temps were warmer I noticed.
