I just submitted my checklists for the birdwatch. I did not have a chance to watch anywhere but my yard as we were away for 2 days. Here is the link to the results. I was not surprised to see that Florida was #l for the Most Birds counted. I am sure the result would more than double if they were allowed to count the "snowbirds" I was happy to see that Tennesse made the top ten for most checklists submitted. http://gbbc.birdsource.org/gbbcApps/results
I didn't get a count submitted. Not hardly any birds in my yard all day on Friday, mainly because the kids were out of school and playing in the snow scaring the birds away And we were away from home most of Saturday and all of Sunday. But I am glad to see that Texas had some good reportings....most of them from the southern regions where the temps were warmer I noticed.
