Hello all, I'm a beginner gardener with a small patio and lots of enthusiasm. I'm not very knowledgeable though, so I've managed to kill quite a few plants in my short career. I'm hoping that you can help me avoid more heartbreak in the future. I'd really like to grow some of my own food (whatever I can in containers) and some ornamentals. Hello Plantmom, Welcome to gardenstew….i'm new myself here and so far members have been lovely and friendly Life's a learner and that goes for plants...I've had a few die on me in the past but they've had to be replaced, so it's a learning curb for us all and it doesn't matter how many years you've been at it
